What does self-care have to do with bringing balance into our screen-filled lives? As it turns out, quite a lot! When we embrace the ethics of caring lovingly for ourselves, our relationship to the use of devices naturally shifts to what supports and gives balance to our lives.

This Action Network Live! webinar is designed for parents, educators, and anyone who has shouldered the stress of supporting children during the pandemic. We welcome Action Network member, psychologist, and educator Susan McNamara to help us preserve self-care in uncertain times. During this experiential hour, we explore simple practices and common sense perspectives that not only help us to decide the if’s and when’s around how we use tech, but that ultimately bring us into relationship with what matters most to us.

Susan McNamara, M.A., CHHC is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Professional-Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher, and is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Susan has been contemplating, researching, and most importantly, living the questions around how to meet real human needs in the Digital Age, while aligning with life-affirming values, deep purpose, and meaning.
